Building Faith and Relationships Together
Legacy Youth is our Youth Ministry here at Covenant Church. We serve youth from grades 7th through 12th and assist them, along with their families, in developing a relationship with Jesus and becoming strong men and women of God. We believe that this generation of youth is purposed to carry out God's vision for this world and His divine will. We believe in leading them and guiding them to the knowledge of Christ through His word, worship, and God's presence.
When We Meet
Junior High (7th-8th) and High School (9th-12th) come together every Wednesday night. Doors open at 6:00 for all students and we gather downstairs in the Glendale Pate Education Center (GPEC Room) altogether from 6:00-6:35. Then we transition upstairs to Family Worship in the main sanctuary for pre-service games at 6:40 and worship kicks off at 6:45. Anytime from 6:00-6:35 students can visit the Daddy-D Concession Stand to purchase snacks and drinks (items are between $1.00-$1.50), hang out in the Life Center for games, or visit our CovShack where we serve a weekly snack. After Family Worship students are dismissed back downstairs for class. 7th-12th grade meet in the GPEC Room first for class announcements then split into their separate classes. Junior High meets in Room 104 and High School stays in the GPEC Room for age appropriate teaching that enhances their daily walk with God and gives them the courage to face today's world.
We also meet downstairs for Sunday School every 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month. A Sunday School Dismissal slide will be displayed during service on Sunday's with the information for classes to be dismissed downstairs. Junior High and High School come together in one class for in depth teaching.

Legacy Youth Leaders
Legacy is led by a team of powerful young leaders that are passionate about youth and their development. Jorge and Kelsi are the youth Pastors and Jaheim Upshaw is part of their team. Jorge and Kelsi lead 9th-12th graders throughout their journey to Biblical truth, knowledge and understanding of the Word of God. Jaheim leads 7th-8th grade (Junior High) and engages with them weekly during class with a time of teaching and a time for open discussion and questions.

Weekly Services
Sunday's at 9:45am
Wednesday's at 6:00pm for Students | Family Worship at 6:45 pm
We believe in giving families the opportunity to worship together each week. Your family will be blessed by attending our weekly worship service together and grow in their relationship with Jesus! All children and youth (youth every 2nd & 4th Sunday of each month) are dismissed for Sunday School before the sermon, for age appropriate lessons.
At 6:00 doors open and students have a variety of things to choose from, like concession, games and CovShack until 6:35. We begin transitioning for family worship in the main sanctuary at 6:40. From there we allow the Spirit of God to move how He chooses. After worship students are dismissed to separate classes then given the opportunity to repent and ask God to become their Lord and Savior.
